October, 23, on the Moskva skating rink in Krylatskoje
the second day of Open Cup of Moskva which is also qualification
start for Russian National Team to the two first stages of World
Cup has come to the end. Final distances - 3000 m at ladies and
5000 m at men - have won Olga Graf and Ivan Skobrev. About it reports

The victory on 3000 m with advantage in a second
over the second prize-winner Svetlana Vysokova has allowed Olga
Graf to be selected in the Team on World Cup stages. Jekaterina
Lobysheva in a National Team to herself already guaranteed a place
by victories on 1000 and 1500 m, however has run 3000 m in the training
purposes and became the third.
At men the predicted victory was gained by Ivan
Skobrev, for 13 seconds outstripped silver prize-winner Artem Belousov
- 6.31,96 against 6.42,99.

track - 1.09,98, having surpassed achievement of three-year prescription
- 1.10,08. Jekaterina Lobysjeva, having run for 1.17,560, has updated
a record of the vice-speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation,
the Olympic champion-2006 on 500 m Svetlana Zjurova, which has been
established on 25 December 2005 - 1.17,83.

Jekaterina Lobysjeva and Jevgenij Lalenkov - on 1500 m, said Agency

Cup - on November, 7-9 in Berlin and November, 14-16, in Herenveen
has come to the end. Results are given by the special correspondent

In the first day of the competitions, men and
women competed on two runnings on 500 m and on one on a distance
of 1500 m. On the second running on 500 m some sportsmen specialising
on longer distances, including leaders of National Team - Jekaterina
Lobysjeva and Jevgenij Lalenkov did not start. As a result, Julia
Nemaja and Dmitrij Lobkov became winners on 500 m by the sum of
two runnings. Lobkov has outstripped the nearest persecutor Victor
Glustsjenko for the 1,4 seconds. On a distance of 1500 m Lobysjeva
(2.00,10) and Lalenkov (1.48,88) took priority.

after the first runnings on 500 m, said Agency

Yesterday, on October, 22, Open Cup of Moskva
started in Krylatskoje by the results of which the National Team
structure will be generated for the first stages of World Cup -
on November, 7-9, in Berlin and on November, 14-16, in Heerenveen.
Following the results of the first runnings on a distance of 500
m are in the lead Jekaterina Malysjeva and Dmitrij Lobkov. About
it the special correspondent of Agency of the sports information
"All sports" gives.
According to the system of selection that confirmed
by the Russian Skating Union, participants of the two first stages
of a World Cup will be named by a sports principle by results of
the Cup of Moskva though one place on each of distances nevertheless
will be filled to the recomendation of trainer's council. Three
sportsmen who following the results of the past season's World Singled
Distance Championships or World Cup Final were in the six bests
- Dmitrij Lobkov, Jevgenij Lalenkov and Svetlana Kajkan are released
from selection only. Nevertheless, participation in the Cup of Moskva
for them also is obligatory.
The Cup of Moskva started by the distance of 500
m, where the pleasant surprise was presented by Jekaterina Malysjeva.
Her result 38,920 sec. for half-seconds surpasses achievement of
the second prize-winner of Julia Nemaja. The titled Dmitrij Lobkov
also has confidently beaten Jevgenij Lalenkov - 35,760 against 36,303,
despite force-majeur on start. During the moment, when the starter
already was going to give a shot, on a lane directly before Lobkov
on the "fifth point" the skater who has fallen on warm-up
has taken off, ran into a side, has flown by half of starting straight
line and only then has managed to rise and release competitive ice.

preparation for the Olympic Games in Sotsji, Russian skaters have
organised four "independent" junior and youth teams, said
Agency of the sports information
"All Sports".
The Russian Skating Union prepares for sending
to the Ministry of sports some documents on organising principles
of one junior and three youth teams for preparation to Winter Olympic
Games-2014 in Sotsji. On it to Agency of the Sports Information
"All sports" was informed by the head coach of a Russian
National Team, Nikolaj Gudin.
"Yesterday trainer's council took place
in skating federation. And there we have confirmed and have once
again discussed the decision to organise four independent teams
- one junior and three youth, separately for skaters who specialised
in sprint, middle and long distances, - has told Nikolaj Gudin.
- We have discussed the sportsmen list's structure, and also coaches
of the team. We just will tell, junior team will be trained by Nikolaj
Tsjikov. For the preparation of plans for these three youth teams
we have to use all three basic skating centres of our country. Sprinters
will be based in Kolomna, those skaters who specialised in middle
distances - in Krylatskoje in Moskva, and stayers - in Tsjeljabinsk.
We are now occupied by preparation of documents for giving in the
Sports Ministry. And the earlier the positive decision, the will
be accepted better. Organising of the teams is absolutely necessary,
if we wish to compete successfully on the Olympic Games in Sotsji.
I hope, the system will earn as fast as possible, and after the
statement by the ministry our plans will start to be realised".
16.10.2008. On the Olympic
Games in Vancouver the Russian skaters have a plan to count on medals
in five disciplines, said Agency
of the sports information "All Sports".
In the end of September in Tuapse (Krasnodar Region)
took place the congress of the Russian Skating Union, and the plan
of a Russian National Team for Olympic games-2010 in Vancouver has
been announced - two gold, two silver and two bronze medals. That
plan was to be corrected in near future. The Agency of the sports
information "All sports" was informed by the head coach
of a Russian national team, Nikolaj Gudin, about it.
"Yes, in the beginning of this Olympic cycle
we have incurred the obligation to win on two medals of each advantages,
- Nikolai Gudin admitted. - But this spring we have written the
letter addressed to Vjatsjeslav Fetisov (ex-Minister of Sports)
of that time where fairly admitted that, most likely, not in a condition
to execute this plan. The reason is simple - those conditions which
we stipulated, and have not been executed by that Ministry. In particular,
it was a question of creation of the centres in traditionally "speed
skating" territories - cities of Tula, and Kostroma. There
till now there is no artificial ice, and at "present"
winters it means, as there is no sports kind. Therefore we, having
judged objectively, have a little bit corrected the plan to one
medal of each of advantages. Thus we objectively have chances on
five distances: 500 m (Dmitrij Lobkov), 1000 m (Jevgenij Lalenkov),
1500 m (Lalenkov, and Ivan Skobrev) and two team pursuits. On these
distances in the past year the maximum emphasis in preparation will
be placed. We have already warned the senior trainers that they
did not distract on experiments, and worked particularly on result
achievement. Because time of experiments has ended".

October, 13th, in the Skating centre "Kolomna"
of Moscow Region test races for a Russian National Speedskating
Team have come to the end before the first official tournament of
a season - an Open Cup of Moskva. Among winners there were leaders
of the team - Dmitry Lobkov, Ekaterina Lobysjeva and Jevgenij Lalenkov.

Team has come to the end in Kolomna before the first official speedskating
event with test races. On Sunday skaters ran distances 500, 1500

WorldCup Selection event too (First World Cup will take place in
Berlin early November). The world vice champion on a distance of
1000m has told about the readiness for the first selection starts
of the season to Agency of the sports information "All sports".
"For now, Russian speed skating team is at
the last pre-season training camp in Kolomna, - said Jevgenij Lalenkov.
- A work is usual for such period of time - high speed trainings
on ice. And sometime the weather allows us to train on cycle. Before
the camp all of us passed through profound medical examination,
tested level of aerobic readiness, and as a whole I'm satisfied
by the conditions of myself. The official season for us will begin
on October, 22, Selection event on Open Cup of Moskva, on a skating
rink in Krylatskoje. Unfortunately that Cup's races will take place
in working days and most of all people cannot look competitions
at this time, because they work or study. I just only can say, that
all leaders of world speedskating will come to Moskva to the third
stage of a World Cup late November. It would be desirable to see
full stands, because it 's much more interesting to compete. I'd
like to invite all our fans to come without fail, look races, and
support competitors".
